The songs I make and where I got my style
I've been making music for about 2 and a half years now and I think it's time to talk about how it started.
Growing up, I've always had a deep passion for EDM. Im quite open-minded to many different genres but EDM is probably my most listened to on Spotify. The things that I enjoy alot are heavy bass tracks like UK dubstep, Bass house, trap, jungle, drum and bass and the likes of it.
I listened to artist like Skrillex, Fred again.. , MPH and underground artists like borne, Taiki nulight, Arya and many more that it's impossible to name them all.
I definitely belive that my style came from many of these artists that I listened to and it's like a culmination throughout the years. I love subbasses that makes your chest shake, heavily distorted basses and growls, fast-swingy hats and punchy kicks.
I really priotize simplicity and good-hitting drums. I have never been a fan of over-processing my sounds and complicating my workflow. I know some people are able to add alot more layers and plugins to their sounds and still sound amazing but its not for me personally. I think it's unnecessary for me.
