The time my remix got noticed
Rad cat is an artist all the way from the US. I admire his style he puts in his production and his songs because they have that 2010's club-centric pallete with lush vocals.
I listened to his song "Zero to Obsessed" and immediately I thought to myself, "What if I took this song and rearrange it with my own style and twists?"
The vocals were already perfect and I wanted to see if it was possible to flip them in a bass heavy track instead of a melodic one. Eventually, I decided to turn it into a UK dubstep track.
What started out as a fun little remix that got posted on my story turned out to be my greatest motivator in making more songs. I tagged Rad Cat on my story of my remix of his songs but I never thought he would see it and reach out to me for the song.
I don't know how to describe my excitement when he messaged me. He had a headline set coming up in LA in mid June and wanted to see if he could fit the song in.
I sent him the link to my remix download and all was good and I waited patiently for month.
