My Approach on Mixing

Every approach is different. The songs you've made and the genres you jump around occasionally, you will never mix them the exact same way. 

I make EDM music and that genre has a very different style of mixing compared to lets say pop and rock. 

The songs you hear in EDM usually has much more layers stacked on top of one another like FXs, synthezised kick and snares, pads and synth leads.
